Hi guys and gals,

I have made a 3 minute track inspired by the Alien films. I tried putting in the creepy feel of Alien and the epic feel of Aliens, but I am no Jerry Goldsmith nor James Horner so be gentle.

So get into the ALIENS spirit - listen LOUD - and ENJOY!

Are you trying to go for soundtracks producing?

About this track: nicely done, but i didn't feel almost anything epic, more intense than epic. anyways decent work, thx!

I'm not specifically going for the soundtrack production. I'm just trying to capture a certain feeling of the movies, and it was through the orchestral sounds I felt I could do that the best.

I think we have two different perceptions of what epic means, but if you listen to Horners music, you know what I mean.

Edit: When the percussion comes in it sounds just like a qlimax intro or something, really good

I use Reason as much as possible, but also Cubase for some synthwork.
