So, just a thought on my mind lately and a rant.
Producers and labels bitch and moan about how people don't buy there music or support the releases, yet they don't seem to care to cater to the loyal buyers either.
I never understood why it was so hard to release a release on CD?
I understand distrubution can be expensive etc so here is my opinion: all these labels have websites, why don't they do like limited edition CD releases that they would sell directly from the website? How much money does a damn CD and a cover cost? Like they make it sound like it costs thousands of $$$.
A good example is Accuface label. For the first volume they did a release on CD that was cheap but I was happy to have a CD release. The next volume they did digital only and lost me as a buyer and i bet many others.
It's just like they complains and say they do it for us, yet they don't seem to want to take the extra effort to do limited CD runs. Like damn do like 100 Limited CD runs for $10....i bet you'll find 100 buyers.
Like releases I like, I'd love to buy maxi cd's but they don't come out anymore even to this day I can't grip purchasing digital releases. I just don't feel like I'm buying anything for myself, rather than just "here, take my money because you cry about it all the time"
I don't know...I can't help but be a physical guy. I like to be able to touch and see a collection. It's the same with movies and video games for me.
Anyways that all i wanted to say....lets here your thoughts!
